“I love it when a plan comes together”

Its fun times, bits and pieces arriving all the time to equip the Shack. We have a fridge for weed, 20x Bells Mason Jars to go within, and a bigger fridge for fruit and stuff for smoothies. There’s an ice shop about 50m away. They’re giving us a giant coolbox/eskie and just call them and they’ll top up in 10 minutes for cheap. Too easy. Pictured are two of our blenders, I bought 5, these coloured ones were $14 each but BOGO Free. I also bought a bigger one, an identicopy of a Hamilton Beach 3HP, only it cost $120 not $1100, it lasts a year I’m happy, they’ll live basically outdoors in a hot and humid place. Stuff breaks quicker here. But 4 blenders in cool colours for less that $30? bargain.

Waiting on, lighting, the signage, maybe end of the week if we’re lucky, a big palm tree – I’m not allowed to a) buy unsupervised, b) buy before the signage is here. Strict is my wife on these matters. Oh I need to do a menu and get it printed. I can’t be bothered with photos, look at the weed in front of you. We have some Cookies illuminated pots with magnification for display. They’ll do, oh and 50 sets of 6″ bamboo tweezers. Cost me $6, those!

Furniture, we want some bamboo or rattan furniture, 3-4 comfy chairs and a table, we’re not allowing smoking on premise because there are people home’s like 3m away, it doesn’t seem right. But hang out and have chat (& Co’s mates for sure) have a smoothy, shelter from the rain, we’ll have some nice seats, and bought a new phone for payments and Spotify today.

Hatches ready for battening, rainy season is nearly upon us.

Its all coming together, I’ve stopped asking about the license, I am trust and value my health. The national computer system hasn’t removed the previous license yet. Well a person who is meant to manage the database it hasn’t done it yet. & Co says she’s on it.
