Lorra stuff going on today. Deliveries, Seedlings, Shack, Lights, and camera I guess. Oh and Florida.

So yeah my thoughts on Florida in the video, and I love that tune. I’s a true story, I was reminded of it because a paper I read did an interview with a bunch of them that made the song, published yesterday. Based on a true story, the guy woke up on someone’s lawn in Hollywood at like 3pm having been asleep for 3-4 hours, woke up and reckons the line “What the hell am I doing drinking in LA, aged twenty – six” came to him as he woke up. I always associate it with LAX for some reason.

As far as the plants go, yeah losing some green, that would be reducing the N that was going in with the Cal Mag, it was my experiment, one I’m not super happy with at the moment, they still need bags of photosynthesis at this stage and I feel a bit like I’ve crippled them. I’m going to buy some more 4-0-0 and net time maybe start them later on the 2-0-0. Its also way, way too hot. That AC is def in need of a clean. About 900km away in a truck is a new floor standing 12,000BTU AC, cost me like $120. The one on the wall is only 9000BTU I think so we should be able to get plenty cool in there from tomorrow evening which is when it should arrive. Heat stress causing Hermies worries me more than light pollution or messing with cycles.

Seeds arrived from Real Nick this morning, just 6 days UK to Th. And there are some beauts. He repackages them and sends and then I repackage them this end. We could get a seed import license ut its $600 and its fun living on the wild side a couple of times a year. So many free seeds from seed-city.com. Stuff I’m particularly looking forward to, Frozen Black Cherry by Anesia, Tropical Cookies (Pineapple Express x GSC) by Growers Choice and the Kush Mintz from Barneys (the bulk of these are Barney’s Farm) Kush Mintz and Cousins seems to be the base for a whole bunch of fancy stuff out there at the moment, its a decent yielder, 8 weeker and what we’ll likely be focusing on in the Flower Room next grow. We have the 8×4, 5×5 and 4×4 to fill as well, a new light to order for the new 5×5.

Speaking of lights, Sparkey was/is here this evening. There is something they’re not telling us about wiring (comes with no instructions, again) the dimmer barely moves, off is 100% it gets a bit dimmer around 50% otherwise they all run at 80%. Same as before it burned out, all there are 6 pairs of positive and negative from the two light banks, it shouldn’t be doing this stuff. Filmed it and sent it to Meijiu for instructions. We don’t need it for a week or anyway, the seedlings will be fine under those lights for a week, or I may put them in the Mars Hydro Hydroline12 – the DWC all in one with light I haven’t used in ages. Remembered about it yesterday, may dust that off for some mega roots.

So on to the seedlings,

The two front right are two very slow moving Black Patronus, they got an extra day in the bag and are still marginal. & Co worked some advanced skewer moves on one to tease a bit more root out. Scary stuff. They had a little mist and that was it. Leave them be to work their way out. I can see there being 11, sure, but one of the BP’s was really marginally after 3 days in paper. Its OK, we have the Animal Mints BX1 I’d be happy to run as well, there’s those Mintz again.

Since the Sparkey was here he put up a couple of lights at The Weed Shack, there are two more to go outside, I already had some old pressure lamps converted to electric, so they’re going outside with Wifi controlled coloured bulbs in, They’ll likely just get set to a warm green. The ones that went in tonight are ultra warm, orange. I mean I’d stop whatever the place was selling, it just looks inviting and we haven’t even got the furniture or sign in yet. Just looks cosy.
