Like nice tired, and the plants are well. Work, family life, a touch of the old lumbago.
Well a cold from the weather changing. But too weary to write since its mostly all I’ve been doing for days. Oh and reading. Some fun stuff but not really much on this here subject.
So for the defol pretty much my only contribution was raising the lights and turning them down and to add a bit more light back on for & Co I put the house ones on. Forgot to turn them off though. Noticed after dunno 2 hours or so, bit more. To mitigate I switched the lights to manual and turned them on later. Idiot boy.
Its been 3 days so far and seem OK, not even the Banner, my first port of call in these situations, seems bothered. They’re through what’s held to be the most sensitive week, week three. Conditions are boss, hot and dry and with Co2 a plenty. I pushed the Explode to 1.5ml/l as much as we’ll use if for by end of week 5 we’ll be done with it I think. Well, if we want more I’ll have to order more, it’ll run out by then. Its not meant to be used past then or maybe week 6 I think. See how they look.
Something we will run out of on Friday is Cal-Mag, the fert I mixed up tonight was the last of it. That will last us until end of day tomorrow. Then a flush! That should see us through until Saturday when the new stuff arrives. I thought there was enough for a week and was going to get to it at the end of the week. But a change to our normal regime. Athena CaMg – bonus its cheaper than the previous, a white labelling of Advanced Nutes I think. That is 4-0-0 +Fe And this is 2-0-0 +Fe
Our plants have always been super green at the finish, By reducing the N, which came out of a discussion elsewhere I’m not sure why they looks healthy and green to the end bothers me, we currently can’t get a 10c overnight which is what will often induce more colours. Maybe I put another AC in there and see next grow (It would just be moving an AC really) I’m not sure is desirable other than for appearance, @wastei once told me, I think, that purples were the result of breakdowns and efficiencies in Calcium transportation, which sounds sub optimal just for leaf appeal. But maybe that stress encourages stress and therefore growth elsewhere – the more saleable bit of the plant!
We’ll see, I’ll buy another 4-0-0 in time for the next grow I think. We’ll switch around when we start with the Explode say. Week 3. Assuming this is an improvement.
Other news, & Co got The Weed Shack license into the system and approved subject to standard stuff. Ther e were issues and bleak moments even from her and she’s normally the glass is perfectly full kinda person. But done, doing home stuff, the weather has broken her, well the rain has come but the temperature remained. Def not a dry heat anymore. Oh and my Seed City order is inbound. They got counted up properly yesterday. All sorts of extra packets starting tumbling out! Real Nick kept a bunch and I ordered some Black Patronus.
Badass looking from ExoticGenetix.com

Looking good Nick Hardy. I’m glad the light didn’t freak them out. Enjoy the rain and get better quick.
