Yeah, its all been pretty steady as she blows this last week or more. Not really much going on.

Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t complaining! But this stage has just been about slow accumulation of bud bulk, in many plants the first layer in the first 30cm – 12″ of each cola is complete. Next up therefore is ‘The Chunkening’ the second layer of buds that can come on so quickly, Week 5 or in this case it looks like Week 6, which stands to reason as I expect these to be at the longer end of the hybrid scale at 9-10 weeks.

Its interesting the length of flower indicated for these 3 main strains, Future #1, Imperium X and Permanent Marker because they are all 50/50’s with a lean to Indica, typically associated with more like 8 weeks. But they these strains are all noted for their higher than average THC, 30%+ all. So I’m happy to follow the instructions on the packet. The GMO, Banner and Pineapple Chunk singletons are all sativa leaning hybrids and go to 10 weeks anyway. To allow for the possibility of prohibition the next grow will be closer to 8 weeks, more on that in a moment.

The only other things worth mentioning are, it’s got really hot in there today for some random reason its got really hot in there today, despite it being really quite cool day. Barely touched thirty, doesn’t seem so humid. All I can do is turn the AC off for 5 minutes. It worked last time. I can also have the gas on the AC checked tomorrow. As I was cycling the power I got some sunset shots.

Its weird but because I matched the times and I know Sparkey did, they come on about 1 minute apart by design, downstairs is 5 minutes out of sync as well, by design. Oh and only 40L of nutes left and no CalMag, pretty sure it will be here tomorrow evening. No disaster if its not. I’ll flush. He just messaged me tracking, its north of Bangkok still. 1100km so Sunday I reckon.

EC is a very low (for us, historically) of 2.6. I’m not inclined to push it too much further. Bruce Bugbee reckons on up to 3.0 with Co2, I’d concur, They look fine and when the Cal Mag gets here I might well push it to say 3ml/l of A/B which is the max Dutch Pro recommend Without Co2. Its, The Chunkening, after all! We have 21 plants downstairs (which I’ll cover a bit more over the weekend) so I’m comfortable giving them that level and hitting EC 3.0 and not harming them, we’ve done it before. We’ve tipped plants but never worse than that and run far higher; basically you won’t burn your plants if you follow the guidance on the bottle from Dutch Pro. Simps. So easy once I learned to Ph them to 5.8 they’ve run perfect every time.

What else? Popping seeds tomorrow, Saturday at a push. 6 Masterpiece from In House Genetics and 6 Black Patronus. We’ll run 12 in 100oz/3L Mega Solo Cups. Any shortfall in popping will be made up with Animal Mints BX1 from Seed Junky. In a 5×5 with the Meijiu 1000W with UV, maybe gas as well. You would be hard placed to have a 5×5 with more rarified, high end cannabis genetics in the world today than that. I’m so looking forward to get. As crafty and as mollycoddled as I can possibly make them. An 8000BTU personalised AC, dedicated Dehuey, a little side lighting and all the time in the world. Its a whole multi post woth of stuff. Or tl/dr right there.

Seeds from the UK have left the country. They will need popping almost immediately, we need a really fast turn around of the flower room this time. 4 weeks from seed to flip is tight. And it screws our drying, and we have to trim. I need shift my mother in law out the house before then so we can trim and dry in that room. All seems far out in the distance but its going to fly by, like I have to fly out to get a visa around that time as well. Hopefully the last time. Inshallah.
