Two weeks to go – Remember, remember the 5th of November

So I set 4 targets between now and the 5th of November, none of them related to the US Election

The first was a tick last night, ✅, meh, well to the extent it was framed, the conclusion could have been better, but herding cats with a 12 limb multiplier is tricky. Gotta trust me on that one.

The third, tick, ✅, comes for keeping this room good and ready for harvest in about 2 weeks, my parents arrive on the 2nd November and I’d like them to see a room just at the moment of harvest. They were last here two years ago when we had two Bruce Banners near ready to harvest. Our frist two plants. We’ve come a way since then, and they I suspect are not adverse to the product from their younger days!

First video in a while – as I said I thought I was coming to the end of year subscription to Vimeo, but the $230 charge I got an alert for the other day was them renewing a month early, eyes roll. Newsflash – said they def didn’t downgrade me because of payment failure (new card) then said they’d reset it anyway. So can I pay them for next year and they’ll igve me the days I already paid for? Lolz. Uh no. I’m not minded to pay for next year until you deliver this year.

The light is back, took a month, not sure it made that much difference to be honest, maybe the tall one is a freak pheno but I think it just grew taller looking for light, growing out the dark. I dropped the other two lights a little, I can get them down more tomorrow with & Co to push the PVC poles out the way.

We’re now running both AC’s 24/7 and hammering both the Dehueys, I want to try and get reverse VPD the last week of the grow, I’m testing what chance we have of that – the Dehuey in the ceiling has a habit of banging out really hot air. Our only measurement tool in any of the grows the Pulse Grow has been a bit broken recently – no real matter, we have Skin&Eyes, but the support, albeit 15 hours out from our time zone were really helpful, a networking issue, need to run the battery to dead and then it will work, as a guy does networking for a living, its suboptimal design, (physical reset button FTW) but they replied quick and we fixed it. The Co2 sensor is broken but we don’t look at that anyway off that device – you do get some good graphs though. We tried a 15 minute calibration outdoors but nope – it still swings between 0 and 35,000 PPM all the time. That’s fine – its too much product for the normal home grower – the new Pulse Zero looks like a much better bet, you lose Co2 measurement (If you’re using it you’ll have more serious sensors anyway) and you keep the light meter – but really? First time you use a light, use an app and then its Skin&Eyes really. Set, variously, and forget through the grow. Anyway, looks awesome. A sample output below, which is the same as the Pulse Pro we have, you’ll see it bright orange in the video.

That’s overnight which I’m very happy with, been following this thread on another site about some landrace seed provider in the Chitral in Pakistan, so cold and dry at the end! Single digit temps over night from September.

Getting is this cool and dry is totally new for us – its awesome, its like tearing up money in the cold and (dry) dark but hopefully it helps with bring the light (fire) at the end.

That’s it really – we have some leak issue from irrigation – but I think The Lad might have fixed it, just not certain it was the only one yet. We’ll be Ok, with those numbers? I ain’t worried about mould, I’ll get my two weeks.

  1. Pulse Pro is awesome! Love all the improvements on the environment measures. Gonna be a lot easier to run them longer in late flower. Lower temps and humidity is the key!

All the best bud! Arriving in Thailand 13th of December and staying two weeks with the whole family, mom dad and possibly sister too.

    Cheers!
